Springtime report 2022!

So, I have not written a post on this blog in probably around 4 years (and this is actually started from a post I never finished in 2019). A lot has changed over these past 4 years and I have learned a lot. I have finished all of my college/graduate school education and am now working as an SLP with children! God has been with me all the time and got me through some rough spots at times. Even though I have been through all of those grueling and challenging classes in graduate school, I still have a lot to learn now in the “real-world”, because believe it or not things change when you go into a different area and finally start experiencing all that you have heard about in classes! I know, however that God will get me through and that he has everything already planned the best way for me, thankfully.

I have been blessed to have enjoyed a great vacation in Sequoia/King’s Canyon National Park and Yosemite National Park with my family in 2019. I saw some grand things in those parks such as Sequoia trees, which are the largest trees in the world! I was amazed at God’s creation! I also had some nice trips through the years into Gettysburg, PA, Philadelphia, PA and upstate NY. In 2021 my family and I drove down south to North Carolina to visit some Aunt, Uncles, and cousins down there and on the way down.

COVID-19. These were some dark days. This topic actually deserves a post in itself. There was mask mandates, social distancing, tele- (well everything) and a lot of loneliness going around. We basically lived in our houses, except for going out with a mask to get groceries and necessary stuff, for almost 6 months. Church was even online. I had teletherapy sessions on the computer from March 2020 through late 2020. Even to this day masks are optional in public places.
But God, brought us through that time and is still bringing us through and I thank him for that.
