February...

Wow..so much has happened since last I wrote last year! So catching up....I am (wow I cannot believe I am writing this!) in my last semester of my undergraduate degree for Speech Language Pathology Major/ Music Minor at Molloy College!! These past four years have gone so fast, but I am thankful for all the experiences I have had and God's faithfulness through all the hard classes. God has led me through and I have done well. The verse that I have always looked to has been Philipians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Recently I have also found out that me and my sister (along with a few others) will be going to South Africa for a short term missions trip during late May and early June! I am looking forward to this experience so much and hope to be able to really touch people's lives over there and make a difference. This will be my first experience like this, so prayer would be appreciated.
I also want to say that I am so thankful for my family. Today I visited my cousins and aunt and uncle that I do not see alot, in upstate New York. I love you guys! I love how you encourage me to keep writing posts on this blog and how all of you are so joyful. I am so thankful that I can see you and I am always praying for you and thinking of you.
When we were driving home I heard a song that has been on my heart ever since it came out! It is called "Shoulders" and is by For King and Country! I love the lyrics and how this fits to exactly what i have experienced through all my years at college. God has always been there for me when times were rough and good. Thank you!

When confusion's my companion
And despair holds me for ransom
I will feel no fear
I know that You are near

When I'm caught deep in the valley

With chaos for my company
I'll find my comfort here
‘Cause I know that You are near

CHORUSMy help comes from You

You're right here, pulling me through
You carry my weakness, my sickness, my brokenness all on Your shoulders
Your shoulders
My help comes from You
You are my rest, my rescue
I don't have to see to believe that You're lifting me up on Your shoulders
Your shoulders

You mend what once was shattered
And You turn my tears to laughter
Your forgiveness is my fortress
Oh Your mercy is relentless

My help is from You
Don't have to see it to believe it
My help is from you
Don't have to see it, ‘cause I know, ‘cause I know it's true.

Thank you for reading this, God Bless You!
